Placeholder odds — do not publish yet
The probabilities below are template values (X.XX%). Before launch, replace them
with the real numbers from the server drop tables in src/lib/content/legal.ts and set PAID_RANDOM_ITEM_ODDS_ARE_PLACEHOLDER = false to remove this banner. Apple and
Google require accurate, real odds to be shown before purchase.
1. What paid random items are
Necstaidia includes a small number of optional purchases that grant randomized Virtual Items — for example, chests and wishes. With these, you know the pool of possible rewards
and the probability of each, but not the exact reward, before you buy. Everything you can get from a
paid random item can also be enjoyed without buying one, and buying them is entirely optional.
These items follow the Terms of Service: the rewards are
Virtual Items — a licence with no real-world value, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.
2. Published odds
The current probabilities for each paid random item are listed below. We also show these odds in the
game before you confirm a purchase, as required by the app stores. Odds may change as we update the
game; the version and date at the top of this page tell you when this disclosure was last updated.
Chests
A chest grants one or more randomized items from a defined pool. The possible items and their rarity tiers are listed below.
Cost: Gems (or a Chest Key / invitation item)
| Reward | Probability |
|---|
| Common | X.XX% |
| Uncommon | X.XX% |
| Rare | X.XX% |
| Epic | X.XX% |
| Legendary | X.XX% |
Pity / guarantee: TODO: describe the pity / guarantee rule (e.g. "a Legendary item is guaranteed at least once every N pulls").
Wishes
A Wish grants a randomized reward — Orbs of varying rarity or an amount of Gold. The reward types and their probabilities are listed below.
Cost: Gems
| Reward | Probability |
|---|
| Gold reward | X.XX% |
| Common Orb | X.XX% |
| Uncommon Orb | X.XX% |
| Rare Orb | X.XX% |
Pity / guarantee: TODO: describe the pity rule (e.g. "a Rare Orb is guaranteed within N Wishes").
3. Pity & guarantees
Where a “pity” or guarantee rule applies, it is described with each item above. A pity rule means a
higher-rarity reward is guaranteed within a set number of pulls, so the random outcome is bounded.
Pity counters and any other guarantees work as stated and are tracked on our servers.
4. Outcomes are final
Because you are paying for the chance to receive a reward rather than a specific item, the result of
a paid random item is final once it is revealed and the reward is delivered to your account. As with
other Virtual Items, results are non-refundable except where the law requires (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy).
5. Responsible spending
We want Necstaidia to be fun and fair. Please spend responsibly:
- Set yourself a budget and treat any purchase as money you can comfortably spend.
- Random items are optional entertainment, not a way to make money — they have no cash value.
- If you are under 18, only spend with the permission of the person who pays the bill.
- Use the spending and purchase controls available in your Apple, Google, or device account
(including ask-to-buy, screen-time, and purchase-approval features for family accounts).
- If gaming or spending stops feeling fun or starts to feel out of control, consider taking a
break and seeking support from a local responsible-play or consumer organisation.
6. Restricted territories
Some countries restrict or prohibit paid randomized items. Where local law requires, we disable
paid random purchases for players in those territories, or offer only non-paid alternatives, while
keeping the rest of the game available. Availability of specific items may therefore differ by
region.
